Apartment suites. What the future holds for this type of commercial real estate.

In Ukraine, interest towards apartment suites keeps slowly growing. These real estate facilities are designed for lease and differ from traditional dwelling by their status, although they are quite often located in regular housing developments. According to NAI Ukraine expert opinion, as of late 2018, most apartment suites in Kyiv were represented in a “comfort” class, and almost 20% - in a “business” class. “Today, this type of dwelling is bought by those who already own some real estate. At Edeldorf, we have several apartment suites purchased by international couples leaving abroad. Also, people purchase it for further lease and consider the idea of buying the entire floors. In general, there is perspective of more active sale of apartment suites to foreign investors. There are many expatriates in Kyiv who have been living in several countries at the same time for years. Apartment suites at a price of 70 000 c.u. located in the city center are quite attractive for them”, - told Maryna Kravchenko, Commercial Director at Edelburg Development.
